The Pittsburgh Steelers hope they have addressed their running back position with first round draft pick Najee Harris. He will have a unique opportunity to potentially operate as a workhorse running back as a rookie. James Conner is no longer on the roster, and there is not much depth at the position, so this is Harris’ job from Day 1.

Here, we’ll take a look at the prop bets on the table for Pittsburgh Steelers RB Najee Harris on DraftKings Sportsbook ahead of the 2021 NFL season and make our picks.

990.5 rushing yards: Over (-115) or Under (-115)

Our pick: Over

With the amount of carries he is expected to have as a three-down back, Harris should reach the 1,000-yard mark as a rookie. The biggest issue is likely to be the offensive line, which struggled to open up holes for the running game in 2020. Even if the line is below average, there’s a good chance Harris gets enough carries to carry himself over this rushing yardage total.

7.5 rushing TDs: Over (-125) or Under (-105)

Our pick: Over

Oddsmakers suggest there is a great chance of Harris reaching this touchdown total than the yardage total, and we’re going to go after the over here too. He scored 50 touchdowns in a span of 26 games played in his last two seasons at Alabama. Pittsburgh struggled to rack up rushing touchdowns last season, but the offensive line should be improved enough for Harris to score when the offense gets inside the red zone.
