The Dallas Cowboys hope to have an explosive passing offense in 2021, something fans saw beginning to materialize in 2020 prior to QB Dak Prescott’s injury. WR Amari Cooper, Prescott’s favorite target, is on the PUP list in training camp recovering from his own ankle surgery. Cooper is on track to return for the season and leads a stacked receiving group.

Our pick: Over
Cooper has been very productive since the Cowboys traded for him. Even with Prescott sidelined, the receiver managed to top 1,000 receiving yards last season. In 41 games with Dallas, Cooper has 73.8 yards per game. Multiply that by 17 and you get 1,255 yards. Throw in Prescott under center for a majority of those games barring health issues and the over is very much the safer pick.

Our pick: Over
In Cooper’s best season with the Cowboys, he tallied eight touchdowns. There’s reason to believe, barring health, the upcoming season will be even better due to Prescott’s improvements as a passer. There’s a lot of mouths to feed in Dallas, but the Cowboys are going to put up a lot of points. Cooper is still Prescott’s top target and should be able to get to eight scores.
