Patrick Reed has withdrawn from this weekend’s Wyndham Championship in Greensboro, NC, the final tournament of the PGA Tour regular season before the start of the FedEx Cup playoffs next week.
Reed, the 2013 winner of the Wyndham Championship, had the fourth highest odds to win the tournament on DraftKings Sportsbook just behind Webb Simpson, Hideki Matsuyama, and Louis Oosthuizen.
2013 champion Patrick Reed is a WD from the Wyndham Championship and replaced in the field by Josh Teater.

Teater enters the week No. 193 in the FedExCup standings.
Ranked 22nd in the current FedExCup rankings, Reed has enjoyed a successful 2021 season that has included 13 top-25 finishes, six top-10 finishes and a victory in the Farmer’s Insurance Open back on January 31. He most recently tied for 31st in the WGC-FedEx St. Jude Invitational in Memphis this past weekend, finishing four under par.
His replacement for the tournament will be Josh Teater, who is currently ranked 193rd in the FedExCup rankings. Teater has two top-25 finishes this season and most recently missed the cut in last week’s Barracuda Championship in Truckee, CA.
