The Pittsburgh Steelers hope to build on a playoff berth from last season in Ben Roethlisberger’s final years at the helm. The Steelers were undefeated through 11 games, but finished 12-4 and flamed out in the first round of the playoffs. Can Roethlisberger re-discover form with a talented wide receiver group in an attempt to capture another Super Bowl ring?
975.5 receiving yards: Over (-120) or Under (-110)
Our pick: Over
Johnson emerged as Roethlisberger’s favorite target last season and should get plenty of opportunities to reach this total. The Steelers do have some other receiving threats with JuJu Smith-Schuster and Chase Claypool, but Johnson should get the most targets. Even with Najee Harris likely taking touches away from receivers, Johnson is poised to hit the over here.
6.5 receiving TDs: Over (+100) or Under (-130)
Our pick: Under
If there’s any spot where the Steelers’ array of weapons will spread out statistics amongst themselves, it’s touchdowns. Harris is due to break off some big runs and establish the ground game for Pittsburgh more often than last season and Smith-Schuster is the bigger red zone threat. Johnson had seven touchdowns last season, but expect some regression here.
