Good tight ends are hard to find, but the Baltimore Ravens managed to nab one with Mark Andrews. He’s been quarterback LaMar Jackson’s preferred option in the passing game, but with newly acquired receiving help, Andrews’ numbers could suffer a bit this year.
Here, we’ll take a look at the prop bets on the table for Baltimore Ravens TE Mark Andrews on DraftKings Sportsbook ahead of the 2021 NFL season and make our picks.
775.5 receiving yards: Over (-125) or Under (-105)
Our pick: Under
There’s no question that Andrews is capable of putting up yardage totals north of that number—he rolled up 852 in 15 games in 2019—but the addition of wide receivers Rashod Bateman and Sammy Watkins likely mean that the Ravens’ already limited passing game is going to feed more targets to those two.
7 receiving TDs: Over (-120) or Under (-110)
Our pick: Over
While the Ravens might just finally throw more to the wide receivers, Andrews is still a beast in the end zone. He had seven scores last year and 10 the year before that. So even with new receivers and the run game, Andrews should still see plenty of opportunities to score.
65.5 receptions: Over (-115) or Under (-115)
Our pick: Under
Andrews has never topped 64 catches in a season (that was his career high, set in 2019). Now, with the afore mentioned new help at the receiver spot and an offense that’s still pretty conservative with its passing attempts, it’s going to be tough for Andrews to break that mark.
