NASCAR is headed to the Brickyard this weekend. The Cup and Xfinity Series will each hold their races this weekend at Indianapolis Motor Speedway as we come down the home stretch to their respective playoffs.
The Cup Series is running the Verizon 200 at the Brickyard on Sunday at 1 p.m. ET on NBC. Practice for the event will take place on Saturday and qualifying will take place on Sunday morning. The qualifying is notable as this is one of only eight tracks where NASCAR is running qualifying.
The Xfinity Series is running the Pennzoil 150 at the Brickyard on Saturday at 4 p.m. ET on NBC Sports Network. Practice for the event will take place on Friday and qualifying will take place on Saturday morning.
The Truck Series concluded its regular season and returns to action on August 20th with the start of its 10-driver playoff.
