How to watch 2021 WNBA Commissioner’s Cup via live stream

The Connecticut Sun will take on the Seattle Storm in the 2021 WNBA Commissioner's Cup Championship Game on Thursday night.

After an impressive gold medal run by the United States women’s national team in the 2020 Tokyo Summer Olympics, the WNBA regular season will pick back up on Thursday, August 12 with the Commissioner’s Cup Championship Game between the Connecticut Sun and the Seattle Storm. The winner will get a $500,000 prize and named the champion of the Commissioner Cup.

The Commissioner’s Cup will be live via online stream on Amazon Prime and through the Amazon app at 9 p.m. ET/6 p.m. ET. You’ll need a subscription to watch.

The Sun had the best Commissioner’s Cup record in the East at 9-1, while the Storm’s cup record in the West was 8-2. Connecticut is led by MVP candidate forward Jonquel Jones, who is averaging 21 points and 11.1 rebounds per game. Jones is shooting 54 percent from the field and 43.7 percent from three-point range on 4.7 attempts per game. Her teammate, All-Star guard DeWanna Bonner is averaging 15.8 points, 7.0 rebounds, and 3.6 assists per game.

As for the Storm, they are led by the dynamic duo of Sue Bird and Breanna Stewart. The future Hall of Fame point guard in Bird is averaging 10.9 points and 5.5 assists per game. Stewart is averaging 20.6 points, 9.6 rebounds, and 2.8 assists per game.
