Bundesliga returns to action on Friday, August 13 as their opening weekend of the 2021-22 season kicks off with Borussa Monchengladbach taking on the reigning German champions Bayern Munich. Six matches follow on Saturday and then two matches wrap the first weekend on Sunday.

Borussia Dortmund is next in line to win the league, but they’re a far cry away from Bayern in the race for the title.
