What time will Casimero vs. Rigondeaux fight start on Saturday, August 14th

John Riel Casimero and Guillermo Rigondeaux are set to face off in the ring Saturday for the bantamweight titles. We break down when the fight starts and how to watch the full card.

We get a busy night of bantamweight boxing on Showtime this Saturday, August 14th. Two titles will be on the line and at least one non-title fight in the weight class is happening. The main card is scheduled to get started at 10 p.m. ET and the main event will start in the 11 p.m. hour.

The main event for the card features John Riel Casimero putting his WBO title on the line against Guillermo Rigondeaux and his WBA world title. As is always the case, boxing sanctioning bodies are shady and so the card also features a battle between Antonio Russell and Emmanuel Rodriguez for what appears to be a vacant WBA interim title. Somehow this all makes sense, but I’m not quite sure other than money.

The card also includes Rau’shee Warren vs Damien Vazquez in a bantamweight fight and BoxRec shows a handful of other fights that theoretically could still happen.

Casimero is the favorite at DraftKings Sportsbook to win his title fight, installed at -230. Rigondeaux is a +185 underdog.
