Fifteen games involving all 30 teams are scheduled for Sunday, August 15th with plenty of money-making opportunities for bettors on DraftKings Sportsbook. Here we’re going to be tracking all the best MLB picks base on the odds and lines at DraftKings Sportsbook for Sunday’s baseball action.

MLB picks for Sunday, August 15th

Red Sox -1.5 (-155)

The Boston Red Sox have about as good a pitching matchup as you’ll find as they go up against Baltimore Orioles starter Keegan Akin. He has a decent sample size this season with 16 appearances and nine starts with an 8.23 ERA with an 0-6 record. Baltimore lost 15 of the 16 games Akin appeared in, and the Red Sox should jump all over him on Sunday.

Orioles vs. Red Sox O10.5 (-105)

We will also recommend going after the over on this run total for the reason given above because the Red Sox have a great chance at a huge day offensively. Additionally, Boston’s starter Eduardo Rodriguez has not been great in 2021. In 22 starts this season, Rodriguez has a 5.24 ERA, so the Orioles have a decent shot at contributing to this high run total.

Brewers O5.5 (+105)

The Milwaukee Brewers struggled at the plate through most of the first half of the season but after making a few moves at the deadline, they are a completely different offense following the All-Star Break. Milwaukee exploded for 27 runs in two games against the Chicago Cubs, and the Brewers combined for 10 runs in Saturday’s doubleheader. On Sunday, Milwaukee will go up against Pittsburgh Pirates starter Dillon Peters, who has one MLB start the past two seasons. There’s a great chance the Brewers go for six runs or more runs in this spot.

Charlie Barnes O2.5 strikeouts (-175)

Minnesota Twins starter Charlie Barnes has a fantastic chance at reaching three or more strikeouts against the Tampa Bay Rays lineup on Sunday. Barnes made three appearances so far in his rookie season with a pair of starts, but he is going up against the Rays, which have struck out more than any other team in the MLB this season. The -175 is a high price, but it would be a big upset if Barnes cannot hit this total.
