We go over some of the best MLB teams to stack for DFS on DraftKings for Thursday’s main slate.

We have a 10-game schedule in the majors Thursday, which means there are multiple opportunities to come away with a win in DraftKings baseball DFS. The main slate has 4 games starting at 7:05 p.m. ET.

Sometimes with a plus-matchup on the MLB game slate, we get an opportunity to slot multiple players from the same team into our DFS lineups. You can learn more about MLB DFS strategy, including team stacks, here.

Here, we’ll break down a couple of the best team stacks for the MLB slate on Thursday, August 19th.

Twins vs. Yankees, 7:05 p.m. ET

Giancarlo Stanton ($4,700)
Joey Gallo ($4,500)
Luke Voit ($3,500)

Don’t look now, but the New York Yankees are one of the hottest teams in the majors after pulling off a three-game sweep against the Boston Red Sox. The Yankees have won six-straight games and averaging 4.3 runs per game. New York will start a series against the Minnesota Twins on Thursday evening. The Twins will have Jon Gant on the mound, who has been in a relief role since being acquired at the trade deadline. Gant has an ERA of 4.15 through seven appearances.

One of the main reasons for the Yankees’ tremendous play as of late is the bat of outfielder Giancarlo Stanton. The power-hitting slugger has an 8-game hitting streak and is averaging 7.75 FPPG. Between him and Gallo, one of those two sluggers are capable of putting a ball into the stands.

Marlins vs. Reds, 7:10 p.m. ET

Nick Castellanos ($4,800)
Tyler Stephenson ($4,200)
Kyle Farmer ($3,500)

As of right now, we do not know who is currently starting for the Miami Marlins. However, it does not matter as the Cincinnati Reds have one of the best offenses at home this season — 5.54 runs per game. If you are putting together a Reds’ team stack, your best trio of players to have apart of it is: Nick Castellanos, Kyle Farmer, and Tyler Stephenson.

Now you might be asking yourself, why not Joey Votto or Jonathan India in this particular stack? For starters, catcher Tyler Stephenson is on fire at the plate, recording a hit in 4 out of his last 5 games. If he starts tonight, you cannot pass up his value at $4200 and then Kyle Farmer is a value play in this spot. The 30-year-old shortstop has a 7-game hitting streak and is producing 6.8 FPPG.
