We have a three-game schedule in the WNBA on Thursday night, beginning at 7 p.m. ET with the Minnesota Lynx and Connecticut Sun. There are a lot good matchups happening across the league that will feature a ton of betting implications.

On tonight’s schedule, we have a rematch of two games that were previously played on Tuesday night. At 7 p.m. ET, the Sun will look to pull off the two-game sweep over the Lynx, while the Sparks will try to win their second consecutive game against the Atlanta Dream at 10:30 p.m. at the Staples Center.

Here we’re going to be tracking all the best WNBA picks base on the odds and lines on DraftKings Sportsbook for Thursday night’s hoops action.

WNBA picks for Thursday, August 19th

Lynx team total over 72.5 points (-120)

The Lynx will be looking to get back into the win column after losing 72-60 to the Sun on Tuesday night. Also with the defeat, Minnesota saw their season-high eight-game winning streak snapped.

Lynx had no answer for the Sun, who had four players in double figures, including All-Star center Jonquel Jones, who had 17 points and 13 rebounds. Connecticut also went to the line 17 times compared to only 7 times for Minnesota. If the Lynx want to pickup the win tonight, they will need to get to the free throw line and a better game from Napheesa Collier. Collier only had 7 points (3-7 FG) in 23 minutes. I think the Lynx will give a much better and should hit the team total. Minnesota has gone over 73.5 points in 16 out of their 17 last games. The first time they played the Sun earlier this season, they won 79-74. In that victory, the Lynx crushed the Sun on the board and shot the ball well from 3 at 40%.

Mercury -3 (-115) vs. Mystics

The Mercury coming into this game as noticeable favorites (-165) on the moneyline over the Mystics. However, if you want to find better value for this contest, then play the Mercury on the spread. Phoenix might not be at full strength for tonight’s game as Skylar Diggins-Smith suffered an ankle injury on Tuesday night. But even if Diggins-Smith does not play, Phoenix is the better team on the hardwood.

The last time these two teams played against each other, Phoenix crushed Washington 91-70 in DC. The Mercury are 4-7-1 ATS at home this season, while the Mystics are 5-6 ATS on the road. But Phoenix is 4-1 against the spread in their last 5 games, while Washington is 2-5 in their last 7 contests. We know MVP candidate Tina Charles will be the main catalyst of offense for the Mystics, but who else will step up against the duo of Brittney Griner and Diana Taurasi?
