After a solid rookie campaign, Antonio Gibson enters 2021 as the Washington Football Team’s clear lead back and a potential breakout player. Here, we take a look at the prop bets on the table for Gibson on DraftKings Sportsbook ahead of the 2021 NFL season and make our picks.

1025.5 rushing yards: Over (-115) or Under (-115)

Our pick: Over

Looking at the final eight games of Gibson’s rookie season, he averaged 69 rushing yards per game and more than 5.2 yards per carry. That stretch seems indicative of how Washington plans to use him in 2021 when he will start the season as the unquestioned lead back. With the offense expected to improve with Ryan Fitzpatrick under center and some meaningful additions to the offensive line, Gibson should have an easier time finding running lanes. Those factors, along with the additional game on the schedule, give Gibson a fantastic chance to rush for more than 1,025 yards in 2021.

1300.5 rushing and receiving yards: Over (-115) or Under (-115)

Our pick: Over

While Gibson finished with meager receiving numbers as a rookie — 17 catches for 100 yards — he possesses the skill set to produce at a far greater level. During his final collegiate season, he played wide receiver and caught 38 passes for 735 yards and eight touchdowns. Those pass-catching abilities didn’t disappear, and Washington should feel more comfortable utilizing Gibson in that manner this season.
