UPDATE: Watch CM Punk make his AEW debut

AEW debuted its weekly Friday night show ‘Rampage’ last week and delivered a major title change on the inaugural show as Christian Cage defeated Kenny Omega for the Impact Championship.

Tonight’s episode will come live from the United Center in Chicago and is being labeled “The First Dance”, an obvious allusion to the Michael Jordan-produced documentary “The Last Dance” about the ‘90’s Chicago Bulls but also a possible tease about a certain Chicago wrestling icon making his debut for the company.

How to watch

Date: Friday, August 20
Time: 10 p.m. ET
Network: TNT
Live stream: TNTdrama.com/watchtnt or the TNT app

The wrestling world had been abuzz for weeks with speculation that this will be the show where CM Punk will make his long rumored debut for All Elite Wrestling. The company itself has leaned in on rumors and teases over the past month and even the former WWE champion himself dropped a hint earlier in the week. We’ll see if the internet gets set aflame if the opening riff of Living Colour’s “Cult of Personality” blares throughout the United Center tonight.

Other than Punk speculation, the show will be jammed pack full of action with three matches already announced. Private Party will face Jurassic Express in the semifinals of the AEW Tag Tag Championship eliminator tournament, Jade Cargill will face Kiera Hogan, and Jon Moxley will do battle with Daniel Garcia.
