The WBA Super welterweight championship is on the line Saturday evening in Las Vegas, but the belt is secondary to the fighters. Manny Pacquiao makes his long-awaited return to the ring, fighting for the first time in two years. He will challenge Yordenis Ugas for the WBA belt at T-Mobile Arena.
The main card for the event is scheduled to get started at 9 p.m. ET, airing as a FOX Sports PPV and YouTube PPV for $74.99. Pacquiao and Ugas are expected to make their entrances to the ring at approximately 11:30 p.m., but that will depend on the length of the rest of the card. The fight should get going before midnight.
Pacquiao is a decent-sized favorite to win this title fight, with moneyline odds sitting at -360 on DraftKings Sportsbook. Ugas is listed at +275. Pacquiao was previously scheduled to face Errol Spence, Jr. for the latter’s WBC and IBF titles, but an eye injury forced Spence to withdraw. Spence was favored prior to the injury.
