Full undercard for Michael Conlan vs. T.J. Doheny title fight

We take a look at what to expect from the full card as Michael Conlan faces T.J. Doheny for one version of the WBA featherweight title.

One version of the WBA featherweight title is on the line on Friday evening when Michael Conlan moves back to the division to face T.J. Doheny. They’ll be battling for the vacant WBA interim title. This fight headlines a card taking place in Belfast, Ireland and getting underway at 3 p.m. ET.

The full Top Rank-promoted card will air on the ESPN+ subscription streaming service. You can subscribe to ESPN+ on the ESPN website, where you can get a monthly subscription for $5.99, or get the ESPN/Disney/Hulu bundle for $13.99 per month.

Conlan enters the fight 15-0 and coming off an April majority decision win over Ionut Baluta to claim the WBO International super bantamweight title. Prior to that he had been fighting primarily in the featherweight division, winning the WBO Inter-Continental and successfully defending it three times. Doheny enters the fight 22-2 and is also coming off a fight against Ionut Baluta. He lost a unanimous decision in March of 2020.

The rest of the card is not high profile, but it features three secondary titles on the line. Lee McGregor faces Vincent Legrand for the EBU European bantamweight title, Tyrone McKenna faces late fill-in Jose Felix for the vacant WBO Inter-Continental junior welterweight title, and Sergei Gorokhov defends his WBC International Silver super middleweight title against Padraig McCrory.
