How to watch WWE Smackdown via live stream and what to watch on the August 6th episode

The road to SummerSlam continues on the August 6th episode of Smackdown.

Wrestling: WWE WrestleMania 37 Joe Camporeale-USA TODAY Sports

After nearly a month on the road in front of live fans, the WWE returns to Florida tonight with Smackdown taking place live from Amalie Arena in Tampa.

We’re just over two weeks out from SummerSlam taking place at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas and tonight’s episode of Smackdown will continue to flesh out the card with more matches bound to be finalized.

How to watch

Date: Friday, August 6
Time: 8 p.m. ET
Network: Fox
Live stream: FOX.com/live or Fox Now App

Last week’s show was highlighted by the long anticipated return of Sasha Banks, who came out to help Smackdown Women’s Champion Bianca Belair fend off Carmella and Zelina Vega in the main event. Following the match, “The Boss” promptly turned on Belair with a vicious attack, making her intentions of reclaiming her championship crystal clear. Their SummerSlam match will most likely be made official tonight.

Finn Balor was set to sign a contract to face WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns before being ambushed by a desperate Baron Corbin, who tried to sign the contract himself before being thwarted by John Cena. Cena took advantage of the opportunity by signing the document, making his match with Reigns in Las Vegas official. Meanwhile, Balor will face the disgraced Corbin in a singles match during tonight’s episode.

The feud between Seth Rollins and Edge has been simmering since before Money in the Bank and exploded last week with the former attacking the WWE Hall of Famer. Rollins has blamed Edge for the reason why he’s not the Universal Champion so their collision at SummerSlam will most likely be set tonight.
