Full starting grid for 2021 United Rentals 176 Truck race at Watkins Glen

The United Rentals 176 truck race takes place on August 7th this year. We’ve got the full racing order for Saturday’s race at Watkins Glen International.

The NASCAR Camping World Truck Series will be at Watkins Glen International for the 2021 United Rentals 176. The race is scheduled for Saturday at 12:30 p.m. ET and will be televised on FS1.

The NASCAR Truck Series is back at Watkins Glen for the first time since 2000. The truck race held there was the Bully Hill Vineyards 150. Austin Hill will be the pole leader for this weekend’s race, but has long shot odds to win +2200, according to DraftKings Sportsbook. Hill won the Corn Belt 150 on July 9th at Knoxville Raceway.

A.J. Allmendinger, who will also be competing in the Xfinity Series race at 4:00 p.m ET, has the best odds to win the United Rentals 176 at +125. Along with Allmendinger, John Hunter Nemechek has the second-best odds to win on Saturday with +400 odds, while Sheldon Creed has the third-best odds at +550.

The lineup was determined with a performance-metric formula instead of traditional qualifying. The metric is split into four parts: 25 percent driver’s finishing position from the previous race, 25 percent car owner’s finishing position from the previous race, 35 percent team owner’s points ranking, and 15 percent fastest lap from the previous race.
