With an improved receiving corps and a revamped offensive line, Ravens QB Lamar Jackson could set some new career marks in the passing game in 2021.

The Baltimore Ravens enter Year 4 of the Lamar Jackson era, one of the most exciting periods in the franchise’s history. Jackson, a 24-year-old former MVP expected to sign a massive extension in the near future, has delivered some of the NFL’s most exciting moments over the past few years.

Here, we take a look at the prop bets on the table for Jackson on DraftKings Sportsbook ahead of the 2021 NFL season and make our picks.

3450.5 passing yards: Over (-115) or Under (-115)

Our pick: Under

While the Ravens have bolstered their receiving corps by signing Sammy Watkins and drafting Rashod Bateman and Tylan Wallace, the crux of coordinator Greg Roman’s offense remains the running game. Jackson should improve on his passing figures from last season but, even with the extra game, he will have a difficult time reaching the over/under mark.

25.5 passing TDs: Over (-110) or Under (-120)

Our pick: Over

While Roman’s system features a limited number of passing concepts, Jackson hasn’t struggled to rack up touchdown passes. Even in his “down” 2020 campaign (which saw him miss a game), he threw for 26 scores. Jackson should have his premier red-zone target — tight end Mark Andrews — back to full strength and has an extra game with which to work. That should position him to hit the over.

945.5 rushing yards: Over (-115) or Under (-115)

Our pick: Over

The risk of injury represents the main cause for concern with this prop. Jackson has only missed two games in his NFL career and should benefit from the improved protection in front of him, limiting (although not eliminating) the downside here. He has reached 1,000 yards in each of the past two seasons and would have as a rookie in 2018 had he started 13 or more games.
