The San Francisco 49ers traded Marquise Goodwin over two years ago. On Sunday, the veteran wideout will have the opportunity for a #REVENGEGAME in an extremely significant matchup of NFC West playoff contenders.

Fantasy Football analysis: Seahawks WR Marquise Goodwin

Few would have expected Goodwin to retain relevance in football or fantasy terms at this stage of his career, but the longtime wideout comes off one of his finest performances in over a year. Goodwin turned six targets into five catches for 95 yards and a touchdown against the Carolina Panthers last week, demonstrating that he still has a decent set of wheels despite turning 32 last month.

At the same time, no receiver looks forward to facing the 49ers' defense. The unit has allowed just three touchdowns to wideouts over the past four weeks and, outside of a matchup with the high-flying Kansas City Chiefs, has only allowed seven touchdowns to the position group all season. The Seahawks have accomplished a lot this season despite perceived personnel deficiencies on offense, but this matchup doesn’t do them any favors.
