Which teams have advanced to the Sweet 16 in the 2022 NCAA Tournament?

We track each team that has earned their trip to the Sweet 16 of the 2022 NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament.

After a wild opening two days of the 2022 NCAA Men’s Basketball Championship, on March 19th and 20th the Second Round will take place with the survivors advancing to the Sweet 16.

The first NCAA Tournament in front of fans in three years has seen plenty of Cinderella upsets, and also with the best teams that were favored to advance winning with big margins of victory. If you’re looking for excitement, drama, as well as plenty of well-played basketball at the highest levels, it was a terrific opening 32 games.

And it should only get better from here. However the officiating .. well, nothing is perfect. The sixteen teams below will advance to four regional sites, with the emerging four from next weekend entering the Final Four in New Orleans.

Here’s a list of each team that’s advanced to the Sweet 16 of the 2022 NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament.

While we have the dates for when each regional will take place, we won’t have game times until near the completion of the Second Round on Sunday, March 20.

No. 4 UCLA vs. No. 8 North Carolina
No. 3 Purdue vs. No. 15 Saint Peter’s

Midwest Region, United Center, Chicago, IL, March 25 & 27

No. 1 Kansas vs. No. 4 Providence
No. 10 Miami vs. No. 11 Iowa State
