The Kansas City Chiefs go head-to-head with the Philadelphia Eagles in Super Bowl 57, and while the spotlight may be on the two team’s offenses, the caliber of play from the defenses is just as key. For the Chiefs, their driving focal point has clearly been Chris Jones, who has put plenty of pressure on opposing quarterbacks this season. Let’s take a look at some of the best prop bets for Kansas City’s D/ST for Super Bowl 57.
Chiefs D/ST: Super Bowl 57 player props
Chris Jones under 3.5 solo + assisted tackles (-110)
Jones wreaked havoc on Joe Burrow and the Bengals in the AFC title game, finishing with four combined tackles, including three for a loss and two sacks. With two weeks to prepare for Super Bowl 57, you can expect the Eagles to have a plan to at least keep Jones somewhat contained and in check. It’s also key to note that Jones has finished under this prop in 11 of the 17 games that he has played this season, including the playoffs. Jones may still pressure Hurts, but you can expect the latter to be prepared in staying out of harm's way.
Frank Clark over 0.75 sacks (+120)
This is arguably a high-risk high-reward prop bet, but Clark needs to bring down Hurts only once for this to pay off. Better yet, he’s proven to be able to generate pressure and get the job done, as he finished with 1.5 sacks versus Burrow and the Bengals in the AFC Championship. The Eagles have one of the better offensive lines in football, but all it takes is for Hurts to scramble out of the pocket and into Clark’s path for this to cash in.
