The Longhorns will face the No. 3 Xavier Musketeers in the Sweet 16 round of the 2023 NCAA Tournament. The game will take place on Friday, March 24 at T-Mobile Center. The tip-off time will be announced on Sunday.
The Horns and Muskies have faced off five times in their history, with Texas owning a 3-2 record in the series. The last three matchups came in the postseason, with the most recent in 2019. No. 2 Texas edged No. 3 Xavier 78-76 in the second round of the NIT that year.
