Which teams have advanced to the Men’s Final Four of the 2023 NCAA Tournament?

We track each team that has earned their trip to the Men’s Final Four of 2023 March Madness at NRG Stadium in Houston.

We are into the second weekend of the 2023 NCAA tournament and that means the competition is coming down to the business end. We’ve got one more weekend ahead of us in March Madness, and that is the Final Four in Houston.

For the first time since 2011, there will be no No. 1 seeds in the Final Four. This has been one of the most exciting tournaments in recent history filled with big upsets, including a No. 1 seed losing to a No. 16 for the second time in history. Despite all the upsets, there were a few teams who managed to string together enough wins to get to the end of the road.

Here’s a list of each team that’s advanced to the Final Four of the 2023 NCAA Men’s Basketball Championship at the NRG Stadium in Houston, Texas.

East Region - Florida Atlantic

West Region - UConn

South Region - San Diego State

Midwest Region - Miami

Florida Atlantic: Cinderella has returned to the NCAA Tournament, as the Owls have gone from Conference USA Champions to immortal via four thrilling wins in the 2023 NCAA Tournament. They are the first team in Houston, and will be the case for every mid-major that thinks they can punch above their weight in college basketball going forward.

UConn: UConn has been the most dominant team in the NCAA Tournament so far and crushed Gonzaga in the Elite Eight to earn its sixth trip to the Final Four in program history. The Huskies have won all four of its games in the big dance by at least 15 points and will be an extremely tough out in Houston They will be the only program that has won a national championship in the semifinals.

San Diego State: The Mountain West champs held off Creighton in the Elite Eight to advance to the program’s first Final Four in history. They defeated the No. 1 overall seed in Alabama in the Sweet 16. While the Aztecs don’t excel on offense, their defense may be the toughest squad to score on in this year’s tournament.

Miami: The Hurricanes pulled off a major comeback to beat No. 2 Texas in the Elite Eight and head to the first Final Four in program history. The ‘Canes also beat No. 1 Houston on their way through the Midwest, and their offense has looked very impressive when they’re clicking.
