The San Francisco 49ers are coming off a season that featured as bizarre of a quarterback situation as they look ahead to the fall. They reached the NFC Championship for the third time in the last four seasons, but the 49ers didn’t have any healthy quarterbacks left in a 31-7 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles.
The 49ers have 11 draft picks to work with but none within the first two rounds, and their first draft choice won’t come until pick No. 99, which is in Round 3.
San Francisco has had a busy free agency period and lost key contributors like RT Mike McGlinchey, QB Jimmy Garoppolo, DE Samson Ebukam, DE Charles Omenihu and others. Some of the notable additions include DT Javon Hargrave, CB Isaiah Oliver and QB Sam Darnold. San Francisco also re-signed C Jake Brendel.
We’ll be tracking their picks throughout the three days of the 2023 NFL Draft, as well as any trades they make between now and the end of Saturday.
