MLB lineups for Friday, May 26: Who’s starting, who’s sitting

We’ve got a full slate of MLB action on Friday, with 15 games on the docket — meaning there’s plenty for fantasy baseball and DFS managers to monitor as they go about setting their lineups. MLB starting lineups: Friday, May 26

Cincinnati Reds vs. Chicago Cubs, 2:20 p.m. ET

Nick Senzel spells Jake Fraley in left with a lefty on the mound while Kevin Newman slides in at third base and Stuart Fairchild starts in right. Jose Barrero takes center field as TJ Friedl sits.

Miles Mastrobuoni once again spells Patrick Wisdom at third base with Christopher Morel starting in right and Seiya Suzuki getting a day off.

Los Angeles Dodgers vs. Tampa Bay Rays, 6:40 p.m. ET

J.D. Martinez will DH with Miguel Rojas at shortstop and David Peralta in left field.

Yandy Diaz returns to the leadoff spot and will play first tonight, with Josh Lowe as the DH and Luke Raley starting in right field. Taylor Walls gets the nod at third over Isaac Paredes.

Chicago White Sox vs. Detroit Tigers, 6:40 p.m. ET

Yasmani Grandal returns behind the plate with Clint Frazier getting a start in right and Jake Burger once again serving as the DH.

It’s the usual lineup for Detroit, with Zack McKinstry leading off, Nick Maton over Andy Ibanez at second and Akil Baddoo in left.

Texas Rangers vs. Baltimore Orioles, 7:05 p.m. ET

Josh Smith gets a start in left tonight with Robbie Grossman at DH and Sandy Leon spelling Jonah Heim behind the plate.

Cedric Mullins returns to the lineup and will lead off tonight, with the red-hot Adam Frazier at second, Gunnar Henderson at third and Ryan O’Hearn serving as the DH.

San Diego Padres vs. New York Yankees, 7:05 p.m. ET

Brandon Dixon gets a start at first with Jake Cronenworth sliding over to second and Rougned Odor at third with Manny Machado and Ha-Seong Kim both out.

Willie Calhoun is the DH once again for New York with Isiah Kiner-Falefa in left, Ben Rortvedt behind the plate and DJ LeMahieu at third.

St. Louis Cardinals vs. Cleveland Guardians, 7:10 p.m. ET

Nolan Gorman will DH with Tommy Edman at second while Alec Burleson and Brendan Donovan handle the corner outfield spots.

The Guardians continue to run out the same struggling lineup, with Gabriel Arias in right and Mike Zunino behind the plate.

Philadelphia Phillies vs. Atlanta Braves, 7:20 p.m. ET

Josh Harrison gets a start at third base with Alec Bohm at first.

The streaking Marcell Ozuna is up to fifth in the order now, with Travis d’Arnaud spelling Sean Murphy behind the plate and Eddie Rosario in left.

Washington Nationals vs. Kansas City Royals, 8:10 p.m. ET

Lane Thomas leads off again as Corey Dickerson returns to the lineup over Stone Garrett in left field.

Salvador Perez will DH with Freddy Fermin at catcher and Drew Waters getting a start in center field.

Toronto Blue Jays vs. Minnesota Twins, 8:10 p.m. ET

Alejandro Kirk will start at catcher with Danny Jansen on the IL while Brandon Belt gets a start at first and Vladimir Guerrero Jr. DHs.

Carlos Correa is back in the Minnesota lineup, although it remains to be seen how his foot injury may affect his play moving forward. Donovan Solano will play first and lead off while Kyle Garlick plays right with Joey Gallo out.

San Francisco Giants vs. Milwaukee Brewers, 8:10 p.m. ET

No Thairo Estrada or Brandon Crawford as Brett Wisely and Casey Schmitt man the middle infield for the Giants. Blake Sabol will serve as the DH with Mitch Haniger and Michael Conforto in the corner outfield spots.

Darin Ruf will DH with a lefty on the mound while William Contreras catches and bats second and Mike Brosseau gets a start at first.

New York Mets vs. Colorado Rockies, 8:40 p.m. ET

Brett Baty and Francisco Alvarez both start again as Daniel Vogelbach serves as the DH and Tommy Pham plays left.

The newly promoted Nolan Jones will make his debut at first base while Alan Trejo takes second, Willi Castro plays center and Randal Grichuk and Brenton Doyle both sit.

Miami Marlins vs. Los Angeles Angels, 9:38 p.m. ET

Jon Berti will lead off and play short tonight with Luis Arraez returning to the lineup and Yuli Gurriel serving as the DH.

Taylor Ward spells Mickey Moniak in left against a lefty while Gio Urshela starts at third and Luis Rengifo mans second.

Boston Red Sox vs. Arizona Diamondbacks, 9:40 p.m. ET

No Rafael Devers for the slumping Red Sox as Justin Turner mans third with Raimel Tapia in center over Jarren Duran and Rob Refsnyder in left.

Emmanuel Rivera starts at third and Evan Longoria serves as the DH with a lefty on the mound. Lourdes Gurriel starts in left while the newly recalled Jake McCarthy plays right.

Houston Astros vs. Oakland Athletics, 9:40 p.m. ET

Mauricio Dubon will bat second and play short as Jeremy Pena sits. Corey Julks gets another start in left with Yordan Alvarez serving as the DH.

Brent Rooker DHs once again with Seth Brown in left, Ramon Laureano in right and Aledmys Diaz back at second.

Pittsburgh Pirates vs. Seattle Mariners, 10:10 p.m. ET

Andrew McCutchen will lead off and serve as the DH with Connor Joe in right, Jack Suwinski in center, Ji-Hwan Bae at second and Tucupita Marcano at short.

Kolten Wong gets the start over Jose Caballero while Teoscar Hernandez plays right and Taylor Trammell serves as the DH.
