The four American League and National League Division Series are a wrap, and we get a pair of intriguing matchups in the respective League Championship Series. The ALCS brings us two heavy favorites in the New York Yankees and Houston Astros. The NLCS brings us the two underdogs from the last round in the Washington Nationals and St. Louis Cardinals.
The Yankees are
The Nationals will face the top-seeded Los Angeles Dodgers, starting Thursday at Dodger Stadium. The Rays will face the top-seeded Houston Astros, starting Friday at Minute Maid Park. The NLDS also features the Atlanta Braves holding home field advantage against the St. Louis Cardinals. The ALDS also includes the New York Yankees holding home field advantage against the Minnesota Twins.
The close of the Division Round round means we have updated World Series odds. The Astros remain the World Series favorites, dropped now from +210 to +120. They’re decent-sized favorites against the Yankees, who are at +250 to win it all. The National League side is much tighter, with the Nationals sitting at +450 and the Cardinals at +475. The Cardinals have home field advantage, but Washington’s pitching staff gives them the edge.

The ALCS and NLCS no longer have “futures” odds because the events have arrived. The Nationals and Astros are the favorite in their respective series, and so they get the edge in the odds.
