The Philadelphia Phillies were set to host the New York Yankees on Tuesday,July 28th, but the game is being postponed, according to reporter Joel Sherman. He is reporting the Yankees will head back to New York this afternoon and hold a practice at Yankee Stadium tonight.

This comes a day after the series opener was postponed due to the Phillies requiring Covid-19 testing. The Phillies hosted the Miami Marlins this past weekend. The Marlins scratched three players on Sunday due to Covid-19 and then had an additional group test positive as well, indicating a significant outbreak on the roster. The first two games of the Marins home series against the Orioles have been postponed as well.

The Phillies are undergoing testing to see if the outbreak impacted them, and full results were expected by Tuesday morning. Some players are still awaiting results, according to Yankees beat writer Lindsey Adler.
