The St. Louis Cardinals announced on Tuesday that six players tested positive for Covid-19. The players decided to make their names public, and the group includes Yadier Molina, Paul DeJong, Junior Fernández, Rangel Ravelo, Edmundo Sosa, and Kodi Whitley.
The Cardinals had their weekend series against the Milwaukee Brewers postponed after positive tests arose. Due to the time for testing and getting results, the team’s four-game series with the Detroit Tigers that was scheduled to start on Monday was also postponed. The Cardinals are next scheduled to face the Chicago Cubs in a home series starting on Friday.
