Saturday update: No additional positives came back and the player who tested positive reportedly followed with two negatives, indicating it was a false positive. The San Diego Union-Tribune is reporting the Giants and Padres will play a Sunday doubleheader.

No contact tracing has been done, and MLB decided game should be postponed as a precaution.
The San Diego Padres and San Francisco Giants were set to play on Friday in the second game of a four-game series at Petco Park, but the game has been postponed. The news came in rather abrupt manner with no reason given. Both teams announced to the media that the game was being postponed with more details to come.
The Padres are 29-17 and 3.5 games back of the Los Angeles Dodgers in the NL West. The Giants are 23-22 and 9 games back of the Dodgers and 2 up on the Colorado Rockies. Garrett Richards and Johnny Cueto were scheduled to start for the Padres and Giants, respectively.
