Phillies-Mets game on Monday postponed due to rain

With rain in the New York area, the first game of the series will get moved to Tuesday afternoon.

The game between the Philadelphia Phillies and New York Mets at Citi Field in New York City on Monday night at 7:10 p.m. ET has been postponed due to rain. The two teams will play a day-night double-header on Tuesday with the first game starting at 4:10 p.m. ET and the second game to follow.

The starting pitchers for Monday night were going to be rookie David Peterson for the Mets and Chase Anderson for the Phils. The slated starters for Tuesday were Aaron Nola and Taijuan Walker. We’ll see what the pitching situation looks like on Tuesday for the two games.
