The Miami Marlins announced on Tuesday that veteran outfielder Starling Marte will be placed on the 10-day injured list with a non-displaced fracture in his rib. To take the vet’s place on roster, the Marlins have recalled outfielder Lewis Brinson from their alternate training site.

Manager Don Mattingly told reporters on Tuesday that Brinson will start in centerfield, per Craig Mish. This season, Marte got off to a hot start, slashing .316/.420/.491 with two home runs and RBI in 69 plate appearances. The 27-year-old Brinson has played in four games this season and has struggled at the plate in first four seasons in the majors. Brinson isn’t a good play in fantasy baseball or DFS yet based off his previous performances.

But there could be some fantasy value with outfielders Corey Dickerson and Adam Duvall. Duvall has hit four home runs this season, while Dickerson has a .306 batting average in 49 plate appearances.
