How to watch, what to watch for on April 6th of the 2021 MLB regular season

We take a look at the games on the slate for Tuesday, April 6th in the 2021 MLB season.

Monday’s MLB action featured a 14-game slate, and there will be just as many matches to look forward to on Tuesday. The Minnesota Twins and Detroit Tigers will get things started at 1:10 p.,m. ET again, while the Chicago White Sox and Seattle Mariners will wrap things up with a 10:10 p.m. ET tip. Let’s take a look at some of the best games, fantasy storylines, and rookies to watch.

Best Games To Watch

The Atlanta Braves opened up the 2021 season with three straight losses and will face the Washington Nationals on Tuesday. The Braves are expected to make a deep postseason run this year and are off to a slow start, and the Nationals are looking to bounce back after finishing at the bottom of the National League East.

The New York Mets kicked off their season with a loss to the Philadelphia Phillies, who are now a perfect 4-0 on the year. Jacob deGrom couldn’t get the job done at the mound despite notching seven strikeouts in six innings, ad New York doesn’t have a better arm in its rotation. Can Bryce Harper and company continue to establish themselves as a force to be recokned with?

Fantasy Spotlight

The Boston Red Sox got things going at the plate on Monday after kicking off the year 0-3. Boston racked up 16 hits in an 11-2 victory over the Tampa Bay Rays to secure their first win of the season. Six of Boston’s players recorded multiple hits, and they’ll look to stay hot on Tuesday to gain some momentum.

Rookie to Watch

Randy Arozarena was our rookie to watch on Monday, and we’re coming right back to him after his best performance of the year. Arozarena wne t 2-for-3 at the plate. He was walked once, struck out once, and managed to score a run. He was one of the few bright spots for Tampa Bay and should continue to be one moving forward.
