How to watch Athletics vs. Astros via live online stream

ESPN+ will host Friday’s matchup between the Oakland Athletics and Houston Astros with first pitch set for 8:10 p.m. ET. The game will take place at Minute Maid Park in Houston. The game is available in the Houston market on AT&T SportsNet-SW+ and in the Bay Area market on NBC Sports California.

If you aren’t around a TV to check out this primetime MLB matchup, you can stream the game via WatchESPN or the ESPN app. But keep in mind — you’ll need a subscription to ESPN+.

The Astros won the opener of this series on Thursday, winning 6-2 on the backs of four RBIs from Carlos Correa and Myles Straw, and five shutout innings from Cristian Javier. These two teams are going in opposite directions out of the gate this season. The A’s are 1-7 and the Astros are 6-1. Friday will mark their sixth matchup this season and Houston has claimed the first five.
