After a hot start to the season, the Brewers’ struggles at the plate have caught up with them. Milwaukee lost five of their last six games and dropped to 21-22 this season for third place in the National League Central. They will turn to righthander Adrian Houser, who has a 3-4 record and 3.63 ERA in eight starts so far this season.

The Reds struggled through a four-game series with the San Francisco Giants and were swept at home, capped off by a 19-4 loss on Thursday afternoon. Cincinnati dropped to 19-23 this season for fourth place in the N.L. Central. The Reds will start with righty Jeff Hoffman on the mound. In eight starts, he has a 2-3 record and a 4.67 ERA.
