How to watch, what to watch for on May 4th of the 2021 MLB regular season

We take a look at the games on slate for Tuesday, May 4th in the 2021 MLB season.

Tuesday’s MLB slate will be jam-packed with action. Two doubleheaders will be part of the 17 games on the schedule and start times will range from 2:20 p.m. ET to 10:10 p.m. ET. There’s a ton to sort through, and we’ve picked out some of the bets games, fantasy options, and rookies worth keeping an eye on.

Best Game To Watch

If you like offense, the Chicago White Sox-Cincinnati Reds game is for you. Both teams boast top-five batting averages and rank inside the top 10 in runs scored. Nick Castellanos, Yermin Mercedes, Tim Anderson, Jesse Winker, and Luis Robert are just a few of the talented hitters who will be featured in this game. Dylan Cease will start for the White Sox and will attempt to make things tough on a Reds team that leads MLB in runs scored.

Fantasy Spotlight

His outlook isn’t great, as the Dodgers have scored the third-most runs in MLB this year. Hendricks’ abysmal 7.54 ERA could get even worse if he doesn’t turn things around.

Rookies to Watch

Only two rookies — Dylan Carlson and Randy Arozarena — have more hits than Arizona Diamondbacks first baseman Pavin Smith. The 25-year-old is riding a four-game hitting streak and notched two RBIs against the Colorado Rockies on Sunday. If he’s able to carry his momentum into this week, he could post another solid line against the Miami Marlins.could post another sol
