What channel Cardinals vs. Cubs is on and how to watch via live online stream

ESPN+ will host Friday’s matchup between the St. Louis Cardinals and the Chicago Cubs with first pitch set for 2:20 p.m. ET. The game will take place at Wrigley Field in Chicago, and will also air on Bally Sports Midwest in the Cardinals market and on Marquee Sports Network in the Cubs market. Johan Oviedo and Kyle Hendricks are starting for St. Louis and Chicago, respectively.

If you aren’t around a TV to check out this MLB matchup, you can stream the game via WatchESPN or the ESPN app. But keep in mind — you’ll need a subscription to ESPN+. The Cardinals and Cubs meet for the second series this season and right in the thick of the NL Central race. The Cubs claimed two of three when the teams met May 21-23. Chicago is tied for first with Milwaukee and three up on St. Louis.
