What channel Red Sox vs. Astros is on and how to watch via live online stream

We go over how you can watch Wednesday’s ESPN game between the Boston Red Sox and Houston Astros.

ESPN will host Wednesday’s matchup between the Boston Red Sox and the Houston Astros with first pitch set for 8:10 p.m. ET. The game will take place at Minute Maid Park in Houston, TX, and will also air on NESN in the Red Sox market and on ATT SportsNet SW in the Astros market. Nick Pivetta and Framber Valdez will start for Boston and Houston, respectively.

If you aren’t around a TV to check out this MLB matchup, you can stream the game via WatchESPN or the ESPN app. But keep in mind that you need a cable-login subscription. If you don’t have a cable login to access ESPN for a live stream, you can get a free trial from YouTube TV, Hulu with Live TV, AT&T TV Now, FuboTV, or Sling TV to stream the game.

This is the third game in a four-game set and is part of a seven-game stretch between these two teams over 11 days. Houston claimed the first two games by a combined score of 16-3. The Astros are a -148 favorite at DraftKings Sportsbook while the Red Sox are a +125 underdog. The run total is installed at 8.5 with the over juiced to -117.
