Chicago Cubs 3B/OF Kris Bryant was removed from Tuesday’s game vs. the St. Louis Cardinals due to hamstring fatigue. Bryant was replaced by Ian Happ in left field. While this injury may not seem too serious, it could have something to do with the fact the Cubs are expected to trade the All-Star before the MLB Trade Deadline at the end of the month.

There are multiple teams expected to go after Bryant before the deadline, including the Washington Nationals and New York Mets, per reports. Bryant entered Tuesday night with 16 HRs and 48 RBI over 85 games this season. The former Rookie of the Year and 2016 NL MVP could be the piece that swings a division race.
