The week comes to a close with an all-day slate of baseball featuring 15 games for Sunday. The New York Yankees and Boston Red Sox finish up their series this afternoon with the Bronx Bombers looking for an even split after winning Saturday night. The Tampa Bay Rays look to sweep the now Cleveland Guardians while also extending their winning steak to six games. Let’s take a look at some lineup news for today.

MLB lineup and injury news — Sunday, July 25th

Gio Urshela back in lineup for Yanks

The Yankees activated Urshela off the IL from Covid-19 protocols for today’s finale vs. the Red Sox. He’s going to start at 3B and bat seventh against LHP Martin Perez. The Yankees also have C Gary Sanchez (back) in the lineup batting cleanup with Aaron Judge still sidelined due to Covid-19.

Jose Ramirez out of lineup for Tribe

The Cleveland slugger will sit out for the series finale vs. the Rays this afternoon. Ramirez will be replaced by Ernie Clement at 3B while Amed Rosario, Franmil Reyes and Harold Ramirez will hold down the meat of the order.
