The 2021 MLB Draft will take place on Sunday, July 11 in Denver prior to the All-Star Week festivities. The first round of the draft will start at 7 p.m. ET with the first 36 picks, including a few compensation and competitive balance selections. As we head into the first round, you’re probably wondering who the top prospects for the 2021 draft look like? Thankfully, the great experts around the baseball community have us covered.
Here we’re going to go over the top 30 MLB Draft prospects heading into 2021 from four major news outlets: ESPN, MLB dot com, Fangraphs and Baseball America. We’ll compare the top 30 for each website and point out some differences within the top ranks and some players who are in and out of different rankings.
