Kawhi Leonard ruled out again Monday vs. the Thunder

Clippers forward to miss third straight game tonight against OKC. We break down what it means for DFS and betting.

Well, we’re going to have to wait another game to see Kawhi Leonard and Paul George play together. Leonard (knee) will miss his third straight game tonight when the Los Angeles Clippers play the Oklahoma City Thunder at home. It’s unclear at this time if PG Patrick Beverley will play tonight, as he’s still listed as questionable.

Fantasy Basketball Analysis: Los Angeles Clippers lineup

With Kawhi still out, PG-13 ($8,100) is one of my favorite tournament plays on the slate. He’s producing at an insane rate despite a minutes limit and I wouldn’t be surprised if coach Doc Rivers gives him a little extra run tonight vs. his former team.

That’s the other thing. He’s facing the Thunder for the first time since the trade and you know I love narratives. If Beverley remains out, I like Lou Williams ($7,400) and even Chris Paul ($6,600) on the other side of the game for the Thunder. Jerome Robinson ($3,900) would also most likely play additional minutes, though he’s more dependent on garbage time.

Right now the line is Clippers favored by 8.5 points on DraftKings Sportsbook and I think that’s reasonable with Kawhi still out. If Beverley returns, I’d like that a bit more, but it should be a closer game than many think. OKC plays defense and is motivated a bit with PG-13 on the other side. I’d also think the UNDER on 222.5 is more appealing than a shootout of sorts.
