Brooklyn Nets PG Kyrie Irving will remain out of the lineup for Wednesday’s matchup vs. the Charlotte Hornets, coach Kenny Atkinson confirmed Tuesday. This will be the second straight game the All-Star guard will miss for Brooklyn, which suffered a tough loss to the Indiana Pacers on Monday at home. It’s clear Kyrie’s shoulder isn’t right, but how much more time will he miss?
Fantasy Basketball Analysis, Brooklyn Nets PG Kyrie Irving
I had Spencer Dinwiddie as a top cash play last night against Indiana and at $6,000, he came through despite the blowout loss. Dinwiddie went off for 28 points, eight assists and five rebounds for 50.75 DraftKings fantasy points.
We can expect Dinwiddie’s price to go up a bit, but he’ll still be a strong value play and decent chalk option on tomorrow’s slate. Theo Pinson also saw time as the backup PG off the bench and may be the better value in GPPs. Garrett Temple, Joe Harris and Taurean Prince all see a bump in usage with Kyrie still out.
