He finally did it! Philadelphia 76ers PG Ben Simmons has officially hit the first three-pointer of his NBA career! Oh happy day!
— Philadelphia 76ers (@sixers) November 21, 2019
Prior to tonight, Simmons had started his NBA career 0-for-17 from long distance. Per CBS Sports, it took Simmons 172 games to hit the shot. He’s up to 16 points nine dimes and five boards early in the fourth quarter vs. New York. Now more three-pointers for Simmons since that first career one, unfortunately.
Also relevant. Somebody actually made this bet over on DraftKings Sportsbook. Don’t go spending it all in one place, bud.
