Thomas was tossed from Saturday’s game after going into the stands after scoring 20 points with three assists for the Wizards. The two fans involved in the altercation have been banned from Wells Fargo Center for one year as a result. So Washington won’t have Thomas for the final two games of their current road trip, Monday vs. the New York Knicks and Thursday vs. the Detroit Pistons. The Wiz are already ravaged by injuries, so this is a tough break. Expect Ish Smith to start the two games at point guard, with Troy Brown Jr. also picking up additional minutes in the backcourt.
