Memphis Grizzlies PF/C Brandon Clarke (oblique) is considered week-to-week, the team announced Tuesday.

This isn’t great news for the rookie big man, who had been putting together a solid first season in the NBA thus far. Clarke is averaging 11.8 points and 5.9 rebounds per game in 18 contests.

Fantasy Basketball Analysis: Memphis Grizzlies PF/C Brandon Clarke

With Clarke out of the lineup and Jonas Valanciunas dealing with an illness, the Grizzlies’ front court is pretty thin at the moment. Bruno Caboclo and Jaren Jackson Jr. should soak up the bulk of the minutes with Clarke out until Jonas gets back. Clarke is worth holding on to in deeper formats and keeper leagues despite the injury. His timeline is uncertain, so he could return early or it could be a few weeks, who knows.
