UPDATE: Russell is in the starting lineup for tonight’s game vs. the Hornets.
Warriors arrive with their stoutest rotation in weeks in Charlotte tonight

Starters
D’Angelo Russell
Glenn Robinson
Eric Paschall
Draymond Green
Willie Cauley-Stein
Bench
Kevon Looney
Alec Burks
Omari Spellman
Marquese Chriss
Jordan Poole
Ky Bowman
So with Russell back, Alec Burks heads to the bench. As I mentioned below, it’s a downgrade for most of the Warriors’ rotation, but Draymond Green should remain a valuable asset in DFS and season-long. I’d still hang onto guys like Burks and Eric Paschall, but with D’Lo back, they won’t be nearly as valuable.
The Golden State Warriors are now listing D’Angelo Russell (thumb) as probable to return Wednesday night vs. the Charlotte Hornets.

This is good news for the Dubs and bad news for fantasy owners. Sure, if you had Russell, his return is a bright spot for your lineup. But this should affect the Warriors offense a lot.
Fantasy Basketball Analysis: Golden State Warriors PG/SG D’Angelo Russell
Russell ($8,500) getting back into the lineup, to me, hurts the team overall. He takes a lot of bad shots and isn’t really a factor on defense. In terms of DFS, his usage will be high and the matchup tonight is good vs. the Hornets, but we don’t know if he’ll be on a minutes limit. If he is, which he likely will be, this price is too high.
As for other players, Draymond Green ($6,200) should see less ball-handling duties and fewer shots. So he may not exactly be in play, but this price isn’t bad and he’s still going to rack up stats. Eric Paschall ($6,500) should see less touches, though it would be keen of coach Steve Kerr to get Paschall and D’Lo on the same page. Alec Burks ($6,000) is another name who takes a hit in value with Russell back on the court.
