If you rostered Frank Kaminsky ($5,500) on Wednesday night’s slate, well, God bless your little heart. The Phoenix Suns center is off to scorching start vs. the Orlando Magic with 13 points, three assists and two rebounds early in the second quarter. He’s up to 21.5 DraftKings fantasy points and is shooting 5-of-6 from the field (3-of-3 from distance). If he keeps this up, he could end up being one of the top values on the 10-game slate. He’s at 3.8% ownership in the $12 GPP on DK.
Kaminsky hasn’t cooled off and we’re at halftime. He’s now up to 21 points with three boards and three assists for 30.75 points. Kaminsky is already smashing value and he’s got a whole half of basketball left to be played. Aaron Gordon ($5,900) is piecing together a decent night for the Magic also, with 12 points four boards and three dimes for 24.5 DKFP.
UPDATE: The Suns are lagging behind the Magic, but Kaminsky is still getting fantasy points. He’s up to 23 points on 10-of-12 shooting with five boards, three assists and a steal for 36.75 DKFP. Gordon is at 20 points, four rebounds and three assists for 33 DKFP late in the third quarter.
Kaminsky looks to be done at the 36.75, so not exactly the output we had hoped for. But still, at that price, the DKFP output was fine for GPP value. Kaminsky was underowned so he provided some leverage as well. Gordon was better though, at 9.3% ownership in the $12 GPP, he’s up to 49.75 DKFP on the night.
