It had been a while since Luka Doncic ($11,600) had a bad fantasy game. It was interesting to get a look at his floor, which is still quite high. Even though the young star couldn’t get anything going from the field, he ended up with a 21-7-6 stat line. This was good for 36.75 DKFP, a disappointing outcome for his salary. Even so, it was good enough for the Mavericks to take a win from the Timberwolves and cover the 5.0-point spread. Dwight Powell ($4,100) had his best game of the season as Kristaps Porzingis ($6,900) had his minutes monitored since this is his first time playing in both games of a back-to-back this season. Powell scored 43.25 DKFP and is one of the best values of the night.
The big game for Powell isn’t limited to his offense. On defense, he did a good job keeping Karl-Anthony Towns ($10,600) in check. KAT scored a modest 53.75 DKFP and was unable to maintain a halftime lead. Jarrett Culver ($4,900) was an unexpected fantasy hero for the Wolves. He put up 36 DKFP and appears to have cemented his spot in the starting lineup ahead of Jeff Teague ($5,700).
