Love has been rumored in trades for a while now with the Cavaliers rebuilding since LeBron James bolted for Los Angeles. Love is averaging 16.7 points and 10.7 rebounds per game in 17 contests this season, in and out of the lineup due to nagging injuries and rest. He’d be a valuable trade chip to a team trying to get back into contention.
The Portland Trail Blazers are a team that needs a boost in the front court particularly. Outside of that, there are plenty of teams who could use an edge and Love is five-time All-Star and won a Championship with the Cavs in 2014-15.
In terms of fantasy, if Love were to be traded, it would be a huge boost to Tristan Thompson’s value, as well as Larry Nance Jr., who would likely start the rest of the season if Love is out of town.
